Approach

My practice is rooted in a social justice framework. That means I recognize that your distress doesn't exist in a vacuum- it's shaped by systems: racism, ableism, transphobia, capitalism, white supremacy, and more. I'm not here to minimize those realities or pretend that "self-care" alone can solve systemic issues. Instead, we'll explore how these forces affect you, and how you can reclaim your power and voice in the face of them.

I specialize in supporting folks navigating trauma, substance use (through a Harm Reduction lens), identity exploration, and relationship dynamics. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or just unsure where to start- therapy is a space we create together.

We’ll work together to explore your challenges, and your strengths. I’m not here to impose a template on your life or make you conform to some narrow definition of “normal.” I’m here to be curious with you, to reflect what I see, and to help you build a life that works on your terms.

I’m trained in a range of approaches, but our work will be shaped by you. My clients often describe me as someone who brings both warmth and wit to the room. I take the work seriously, but I don’t believe therapy has to feel heavy all the time. There’s space here for humor, for joy, for messiness- and for being fully, unapologetically yourself.
